This salt is made in the Nort Sea and the sea salt flakes are beautiful, tender and a very soft taste. Not at all bitter on the contrary more like velvety finish. This salt is HAVSNØ™ is handmade in Norway without any additives. My husband who is a nerd when it comes to salt, wherever we travel we have always 10 jars of different kinds of salt with us home. We decided that this was the salt we have to make truffle salt with.
